Statesboro has different events, live music, and a variety of places to visit. Listed are some fun and student-budget friendly ideas to get you off the couch and into the community this summer!
Live Music- Put on your dancing shoes and head over to Millhouse, Locos, or 40 East Grill for some local and live tunes. They also have delicious food and drink menus to please any crowd. 40 East Grill focuses on using local and fresh produce to create a seasonal menu; this recently just claimed them the 2013 Best New Business award!
Cornhole Tournament & Trivia- GATAS in Statesboro is the local college scene, but will be hosting a community wide cornhole tournament this summer. Use your tailgating skills to win some awesome prizes and bragging rights! Think you know some random fun facts? Check out their Wednesday trivia nights in order to get free gift certificates!
Fire Cracker Fest- Be festive this 4th of July and join the Statesboro community at Mill Creek Regional Park from 4pm-11pm. There will be Subway eating contests (FREE FOOD), live music, & a blood drive building up to the grand finale fireworks show. Show your American spirit out in the community this year!
